The Southern Volunteer Battalion (2nd Battalion Hardy’s Brigade) is a Civil War Reenacting  Organization based in Florida. It is made up of numerous  individual reenacting companies. Membership is currently in excess of 50 members. It’s purpose is to “set the pace” for  reenacting in Florida with emphasis on safety, professionalism, and encouraging a family oriented hobby, while honoring those who fought so bravely for what they believed in. The Southern Volunteer Battalion portrays both North and South at it’s many events.
